WOODLAND SWIM TEAM
MISSION
STATEMENT
The Mission of the Woodland Swim Team is
to provide a positive atmosphere where swimmers have the opportunity
to succeed and grow to thier highest level in swimming. Swimmers
will develop skills through swimming that will help them succeed in
life.

WOODLAND SWIMMER'S WIN 4 EVENTS AT
FAR WESTERNS!
Matt Whittle swept the 11-12 boys
breastroke events by winning the 50, 100, & 200 breastroke at
Far Westerns. All of his times put him in the Top 16 in the nation
this year. Mallory McGowan won the 100 breast for the second time in
3 years. Ariel Stephens finaled in all 7 of her events. Jonathan
McArt and Marisa Hildebrand also swam at the meet which included 140
teams from all over the US & Canada

Swimmers who are
interested in learning more about the Woodland
Swim Team and the programs we offer should attend one of our
free Open Houses. Swimmers will get stroke
instruction and will be evaluated by our professional staff. If the
staff feels you are ready to join the competitive swim team they
will offer you a free one week trial.
Swimmers who are not quite ready for our competitve swim
team will be offered a chance to sign up for our Pre

BEIJING 2008 National Aquatic
Center the "WATER
CUBE"
Woodland Swim Team, Inc. is a California nonprofit 501(c)(3)
corporation whose purpose is to actively promote and support competitive
swimming opportunities for the youth in the Woodland area in conjunction with
the City of Woodland Department of
Parks and Recreation.
The Woodland Swim Team is a year round competitive swimming
program. WST is a member of US Swimming (national) and
Sierra Nevada Swimming (local)
organizations. Woodland Swim Team also provides a swimming program for adults
through Pacific Masters membership.
Swim facility is located at
155 N. West Street, Woodland, CA, at the Charles Brooks Community Swim Center, adjacent to Woodland High School.
